In 1998, eels came out with the album electro-shock blues. That album was singer-songwriter Mark Oliver Everett's aka E's way of dealing with the loss of his mom, dad and sister within a years time. It was a very important album to me, and helped me cope with the impending loss of my mom.
eels newest album, Hombre Lobo: 12 Songs of Desire, upon my very first listen just now already holds the same weight for me based on where my life is just now.
